Formech 2440 vacuum former

Formech’s 2440 vacuum former represents a breakthrough in easy-to-use large format vacuum forming, with a large sheet size of 2440 x 1220mm.

Designed to maximise efficiency and production for hands-on, large format industrial thermoforming applications, the 2440 provides ultra-fast response with energy efficient quartz heaters and accurate heat profiling with 48 zones. Four high-output fans provide rapid cooling to speed-up cycle times.

This intuitive user interface makes the 2440 highly approachable for operators of all skill levels. Machine cycle status is clearly visible at a glance and all parameters can be adjusted in real time without interrupting the current cycle. Nameable memory pre-sets enable convenient recall of settings for each application.

Vacuum receiver tanks
Two 200 litre vacuum tanks enable instantaneous vacuum with excellent definition for the most demanding applications.

Process Automation
Electric heater drive, with pneumatic table and pneumatically-assisted clamping, make light work of large applications and greatly assist the operator.
